Come Serve, Build, and Belong
At Wesley Camp & Retreat Center, we believe camp ministry doesn’t just happen during the summer—it happens year-round. One of the best ways you can support camp is by joining a volunteer work day. These special days bring our community together to care for the grounds, improve our facilities, and make sure Wesley is ready to welcome campers and guests.
When you give your time, you’re not just helping with projects—you’re building a legacy of hospitality and faith for everyone who comes here.

What to Expect
Each volunteer work day begins with a warm welcome and a quick overview of the projects. We’ll provide tools, materials, and guidance. All you need to bring is a willing heart, comfortable clothes, and maybe a pair of work gloves.
During the day, you might:
-
Clear and maintain hiking trails
-
Repair or refresh outdoor gathering spaces
-
Help with building or kitchen upkeep
-
Enjoy fellowship with other volunteers
We’ll wrap up each work day with gratitude and a sense of accomplishment, knowing the work you’ve done directly supports the ministry of Wesley.
Who Can Volunteer?
Everyone is welcome! Families, church groups, alumni, and friends of camp are all invited to join in. Whether you’re handy with tools or simply want to lend a hand, there’s a place for you at a volunteer work day.
Why It Matters
Every project completed during a volunteer work day helps Wesley Camp & Retreat Center stay safe, welcoming, and ready to serve campers and guests. From maintaining trails to repairing bridges, your effort makes it possible for others to encounter God in this beautiful space.
